AgeSanctuary is a community site open to everyone who plays Ensemble Studios "Age of" series of games (Mythology, Titans, Empires III, WarChiefs and Asian Dynasties). The focus of this site is on providing an excellent collection of expert and general game replays as well as a friendly place for our members to discuss game strategy or anything else to do with the 'Age of' series. The main elements of the site are only open to members who have registered with us ... but registration is free so come in and join us today.

All Random 3 AoT Tournament |

 The $1000 Legacy Series continues with yet another instalment of randomness! Just like in our previous All Random tournaments, we've mixed up things to make them, well... random! Random civs, random maps, even random players! A 1st place prize of $50 is up for grabs for the person who can adapt the best to these unique play conditions. Those competing will all be playing under new smurf accounts you'll have to make. You won't have the slightest clue of who you are playing - so you'd better never slack off! The tournament will be held at 17 GMT on Sunday the 14th of September [Time conversion]. Check-ins open half an hour beforehand. Meet in the 'Community Events' chat room on AoT ESO. Do not forget to turn up early to check-in!To sign-up, send me a PM. In the PM, state the name of the new ESO smurf account you've created.  The German WCG qualifiers were held over the weekend, with the toughest competition seen in any WCG qualifier so far. Congratulations go to SkWzZ_Phoenix for defeating The_Demon 2-0 in the final. Seeing as the top 3 finishers secure spots in the WCG Grand Final later this year, all 3 of SkWzZ_Phoenix, The_Demon and StarSky will be heading to Cologne to compete. You can congratulate them in DarkonFK's topic. While you're at it, you can check out how the qualifiers proceeded by taking a look at the tournament bracket. If you click on any of the games in the bracket, you'll find links to download the recorded games for each of the matches. Arguably however the best game was one between The_Demon and Phoenix on Patagonia, so check that out first

Changes to Home Page Layout |

We're trying out a new layout to the home page view for the site in an effort to 'declutter' the page a bit. You will now find that content has been separated into three tabs - News, Replays and Latest Posts. The News tab is displayed by default when you visit the site and you can view the other pages by clicking on the buttons at the top of the display. This is a work in progress so we'll be fine-tuning what is displayed on each page and how the page looks overall. The new format has only been added for the TAD skin so far .. the original green skin will be updated soon.

 The Skull Collectors Clan are hosting a 1v1 TAD tournament in honour of their recently departed member Timad. It will be a tournament with a different twist - participants will be limited to certain civilizations that they will have to choose from. TsC are still collecting funds for the tournament prize pool, but expect a total of between $200-400. Sign-ups are open until the 24th of August, with the tournament beginning a week later. Live TAD broadcast this Sunday |
|
 RTS Broadcast will be hosting a live broadcast this coming Sunday of games between _H2O and MrMilo. You can tune into their live broadcast at 17 GMT Sunday to catch the games. If you tune in earlier, some other games may also possibly be broadcast, although this has yet to be confirmed.

$500 RTSCups.de 2v2 TAD Tournament |
|
 RTSCups.de is hosting a $500 2v2 TAD tournament, the first in their 'Dynasties Pro Series' of tournaments in the lead-up to the World Cyber Games grand final later this year. Players will be required to play a best-of-3 games against opposing teams, with 6 days allowed per each round. The Dutch WCG qualifiers were held over the weekend, with a good turn out ensuring for some competitive play. SkWzZ_Luigi defeated Xiphos 2-0 in the final to book himself a ticket to the WCG Grand Final in Cologne later this year. ESL 1on1 League - new prizes |

 In an earlier news article, it was reported that the Electronic Sports League was setting up a 1on1 league. Previously the only prizes were ESL Premium accounts and a Saitek FPS Pro Gamer Unit. Now the following prizes are up for grabs: 1st: Saitek Pro Gamer Command Unit, Saitek P2900 Wireless PC Gamepad, Saitek GH20 Vibration Headset, Saitek Eclipse II Illuminated Keyboard, and an ESL Premium Account for 6 months. 2nd: Saitek P2900 Wireless PC Gamepad, and an ESL Premium Account for 6 months. 3rd: An ESL Premium Account for 6 months.
